Mutina for Art: Nathalie Du Pasquier and Nicole Wermers at Fiorano Modenese
Mutina for Art presents two exhibitions at the Mutina showroom in Fiorano Modenese, designed by Angelo Mangiarotti. The first, 'Bric' (until June 19), is a solo show by Nathalie Du Pasquier (born 1957 in Bordeaux), curated by Sara Cosulich. It features seven large installations made from modular brick elements, playful and colorful, set on a sand playground. The second, 'EVERY OTHER SPACE ‒ A display of artists’ books' (until April 27), results from a dialogue between Gregorio Magnani and Nicole Wermers (born 1971 in Emstetten). The exhibition treats artists' books as components of an interactive display on thematic tables made of coconut fiber. Visitors receive a chart to connect points and create new narratives from a pre-established one. Featured works include 'Zang Tumb Tumb' and artists' books by Richard Prince and Hanne Darboven. Themes include food, body, and design.
