Museums+Heritage Show Debuts in London's Spring Art Week
Nearly 150 exhibitors gathered at Olympia London for Museums+Heritage, the leading trade show for the UK museum sector, held during London's new spring art week alongside Photo London, Art16, and photography auctions. The event showcased innovations across museum operations: architecture, collection management, display cases, environmental control systems, audio guides, 3D-printed exhibition models, multimedia kiosks, and interactive projection systems. Exhibitors also featured automatic book and document scanners and interactive 3D simulations. A popular section focused on merchandising products, offering customizable items for museums and exhibitions. The program included nearly 70 multidisciplinary conferences, masterclasses, and demo sessions. An expert area allowed visitors to consult with exhibitors in their fields. UK Trade & Investment (UKTI), the government body promoting British exports, attended with a dedicated catalog, promoting UK companies providing museum services. The event was covered by photographer Mario Bucolo.
