Museo Madre di Napoli appoints new Scientific Committee
The Museo d’Arte Contemporanea Donnaregina – Museo Madre di Napoli has announced the addition of eight new members to its Scientific Committee. This move, suggested by President Laura Valente and supported by Regione Campania and the Board of Directors, features notable figures like Manal Ataya from the Sharjah Museums Authority, Stefano Boeri of Triennale Milano, and Paolo Giulierini from the Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Napoli. Colombian artist Doris Salcedo, the first Nomura Art Award winner, philanthropist Patrizia Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, historian Jeffrey Schnapp, Olga Sviblova of the Moscow Multimedia Art Museum, and Vincenzo Trione from the MiBACT also join. They take over from Bice Curiger and others. Valente sees this committee as a hub for collaborative initiatives.
