Museo MA*GA and FIAMMA Launch Premio FIAMMA for Emerging Italian Art

The Museo MA*GA in Gallarate and FIAMMA, an Italian manufacturer of recreational vehicle accessories, have launched the first edition of the Premio FIAMMA – Collecting the Future. This award supports emerging Italian contemporary art by commissioning new works for the museum's permanent collection. The initiative fosters collaboration between cultural institutions and businesses, focusing on themes of travel, mobility, and ecological relationships with nature. Three finalists have been selected: Binta Diaw, Alice Ronchi, and Serena Vestrucci. A commission comprising representatives from Museo MA*GA and FIAMMA will choose the winning project, which will be realized and presented to the public by the end of 2026, then added to the museum's permanent collection. Founded in 1966, Museo MA*GA is a key Italian institution for modern and contemporary art, known for its exhibitions, residencies, and collection expansion. FIAMMA, established in 1945, is an international leader in camper, caravan, and van accessories. The award extends FIAMMA's commitment to contemporary culture, reflecting values of mobility, landscape, and environmental sustainability.
