Museo di Roma a Palazzo Braschi Reopens with Thematic Installation
In late March, the Museo di Roma at Palazzo Braschi reopened its doors, showcasing a new thematic exhibit enriched with multimedia elements. This initiative, backed by Roma Capitale and organized by Zètema Progetto Cultura, was led by Federica Pirani alongside museum curators. The redesign was carried out by Studio Visuale and Francesco Stefanori, with support from Università degli Studi Roma Tre and Istituto Luce Cinecittà. The installation features mirrors that enhance ceilings and frescoes, alongside four multimedia tables for exploring prints and documents. Topics covered include 'viaggi a Roma' and the history of the modern city. A Documentation Center provides free access to the library and database, and two rooms include a multimedia station for visually impaired guests. The museum operates Tuesday to Sunday from 10 to 19, remaining closed on Mondays and certain holidays.
