Museo delle Illusioni Opens in Rome, 38th Location Worldwide

A new Museo delle Illusioni has opened in Rome at Via Merulana 17, continuing the trend of interactive, experiential 'fun museums' seen with the Balloon Museum and Museum of Dreamers in Milan. The concept originated in Zagreb in 2015 and has since expanded to 38 cities including Dubai, Chicago, Paris, New York, Toronto, and Milan. The Rome venue features over 70 attractions across themed rooms blending science, physics, and psychology. Visitors can explore a hall of mirrors, an infinity room, gravity-defying spaces, and hologram collections. Exclusive to Rome are a symmetry room and an RGB room with lights, sounds, colors, and shapes. The museum encourages smartphone use for social media photos. Organizers describe it as both entertainment and education, aiming to challenge perception and inspire young visitors to question reality. The museum is promoted by Artribune, which also publishes newsletters on art market trends, urban regeneration, and cultural tourism.
