Museo Carlo Zauli in Faenza celebrates 20 years with new direction
So, there's this private museum that was set up in 2002 after the sculptor Carlo Zauli passed away, and it’s run by his son Matteo. They’re celebrating 20 years with an event called Metamorfosi on May 28-29. This is all part of a bigger program called 20MCZ, featuring DJs, parties, discussions, and sound performances organized by a new curatorial group called NN, which includes Beatrice Sartori and others, along with Clan Destino from Faenza. The museum showcases Zauli’s work and collaborates with contemporary artists. Over the years, it’s built a collection through artist residencies and has hosted various exhibitions, including one in Japan and one in New York. They’re also planning future projects that involve outdoor activities in ceramic cities and will unveil a new piece, Armonia Mundi, by Isabela Benavides and Giulia Dal Monte at the end of the celebrations.
