Museion Sends 25 Works to Nanjing International Arts Festival

Museion, the contemporary art museum in Bolzano led by Letizia Ragaglia, is taking part in the third Nanjing International Arts Festival in China, which continues until mid-February 2017. This year's festival, hosted for the first time at the New Baijia Lake Museum, showcases over 300 artists from 39 countries, centered around the theme "Historicode: Scarcity and Supply." Ragaglia is not only contributing 25 pieces from Museion's collection but also co-curating the event with Lu Peng. Notable artists from the Trentino-Alto Adige region include Allora & Calzadilla, Miroslaw Balka, and Zanele Muholi, among others. The festival, launched in 2014 by the Baija Lake Investment Group, saw participation from over 5,000 artists in its inaugural year.
