Museion Bolzano Celebrates Fluxus Collector Francesco Conz
The Museion in Bolzano has launched a two-part exhibition titled "You and the Night and the Music," honoring Francesco Conz (1935–2010). Curated by Frida Carazzato and Bart van der Heide, with input from Patrizio Peterlini, the exhibition emphasizes Conz's influence through various editions, video art, and the Fluxus movement, drawing inspiration from Gerhard Rühm's poem. A documentary by Roberto Delvoi, "Conz. L'ultimo collezionista," illustrates Conz's impact on avant-garde artists. Featured are loans from the Fondazione Francesco Conz, including the eleven-volume artist's book "La Livre – An Homage to Ezra Pound," alongside works by Joe Jones, Giuseppe Chiari, and others. Additionally, it presents 167 video artworks acquired from Electronic Arts Intermix between 2007 and 2008.
