Musei in Musica 2023: 50 Rome museums open at night for €1

The 13th edition of Musei in Musica returns to Rome on November 25, 2023, coinciding with the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, established in 1999 by the UN General Assembly. Artists will perform musical pieces dedicated to the theme to raise awareness against violence. The event is diffused across the city, involving 50 spaces, 50 exhibitions, and 100 events. All civic museums of Rome and numerous other cultural venues will be open from 8 PM to 2 AM with an entry fee of €1 (or free where indicated). Highlights include: at Museo di Roma in Trastevere, 'Melodie nel tempo – voci di donne' by Abraxa Teatro; at Palazzo Nuovo (Musei Capitolini), young talents from the IV edition of Fabbrica Young Artist Program of Teatro dell’Opera di Roma perform 'Inganni e Corteggiamenti'; at Mercati di Traiano, the Blind Inclusive Orchestra concert featuring blind and visually impaired musicians; at Museo delle Mura, an all-female cast for 'In principio era il battito'; at Galleria D’arte Moderna di via Crispi, 'Slam! Il ‘900 poesia e musica in Galleria' by Associazione Muovileidee. The event is organized by Biblioteche, Musei, Municipi e Associazioni.
