Muscat Art 2024 Returns with 200+ Artists, Regional Focus, and New Podcast Series

The Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre will host Muscat Art 2024 from October 29-31, showcasing more than 200 artists and 18 galleries. This marks the third iteration of the event, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth in partnership with OCEC. Curators Alia Al Farsi and Hassan Meer will select participants, inviting artists from countries including Iran, Yemen, Palestine, Lebanon, India, the UK, Sudan, Germany, and Hungary. A new podcast series featuring four episodes will include interviews with artists such as Alia Al Farsi, Anwar Sonya, Hassan Meer, and Tania, accessible on YouTube and Instagram. HE Sayyid Saeed bin Sultan bin Yarub Al Busaidi emphasized the event's goal to enhance cultural visibility and promote collaboration among artists. Workshops in painting and sculpting will also engage the community. Attendance has risen, drawing more interest from art critics and collectors in emerging Omani talent.
