Multisensory meat performance in Tuscany blends art and gastronomy
On November 23-24, 2024, Podere Belvedere Tuscany will host "Se Carne, Questa Carne," a multisensory performance conceived by Edoardo Celadon, founder of Most of Italy. The event aims to raise awareness about meat consumption through art, featuring chefs Tommaso Tonioni of ARSO and Edoardo Tilli of Podere Belvedere, and photographer Stefano Delìa. Participants will experience two blind tastings in four acts, guided by poetry and four allegorical photographs representing birth, growth, sacrifice, and celebration. Celadon emphasizes the goal of provoking reflection on the life cycle of animals and ethical consumption, stating they would rather convert attendees to veganism than leave them indifferent.
