Multiple New York Gallery Exhibitions Feature Prominent Artists in May

Several New York galleries are presenting solo exhibitions by established artists throughout May. Barbara Gladstone Gallery is showing new works by Stephan Balkenhol until May 31 at its Chelsea location at 515 West 24th Street. The gallery also features Carroll Dunham's work, while Magnus von Plessen has a separate exhibition there. Shahzia Sikander's jewel-like Photorealist paintings and drawings are on view at Brent Sikkema Gallery. Robert Gober's exhibition is at Matthew Marks Gallery, and Harriet Shorr's work appears at Pelavin Gallery. Barbara Kruger's exhibition is at Mary Boone Gallery. Christo and Jeanne-Claude are featured at the National Academy. Tom Otterness has work displayed on Broadway. Harry Roseman's exhibition "Cloth" continues at Davis & Langdale through June 6 at 231 East 60th Street, with prices ranging from $900 to $8,000. Tony Oursler's recent works are exhibited at Metro Pictures Gallery through June. Barbara Gladstone Gallery declined to disclose pricing for Stephan Balkenhol's works.
