Multiple grants, awards and residencies open for Australian creatives across visual arts, literature and performing arts
A variety of funding options are accessible for artists in Australia. The Creative Western Sydney Micro-Grants range from $3,000 to $10,000, with a deadline of 28 April. Grants from North Sydney Council support community projects up to $5,000 and professional development up to $2,500, due by 30 April. The City of Melbourne’s Annual Arts grants can provide as much as $25,000, with applications closing on 6 May. The Stardust Residency offers an eight-week studio space for $2,000, with a deadline of 8 May. The NT Government’s Small Arts Grant allows for up to $5,000, open until 31 May.
