Multiple exhibitions explore Asian identity, family, and women artists across South Korean venues

In South Korea, several significant exhibitions explore themes of identity, family, and the contributions of women artists from Asia. The 'Us Against You' exhibition at the Gyeonggi Museum of Modern Art showcases 13 artists, including Joan Jonas and Samson Young, and will be on display until 30 August. Meanwhile, the MMCA Seoul presents 'Looking for Another Family,' which investigates social solidarity through works by Eisa Jocson and Yee I-Lann, running until 23 August. A retrospective of Wook-kyung Choi at Kukje Gallery highlights her abstract and ink creations and is available until 31 July. Lastly, 'Dancing Queen: Women Artists from Asia' at Arario Gallery features 60 pieces by artists such as Lee Bul and Geraldine Javier, addressing women's experiences until 11 October.
