Multimodal Knowledge Graph WJoconde Extends French Cultural Heritage Data
Researchers have introduced WJoconde, a new multimodal knowledge graph for French cultural heritage that integrates both textual and image information of entities. The graph addresses challenges in expanding cultural heritage KGs due to data diversity and complexity. Three variants of WJoconde were created to support downstream tasks like Knowledge Graph Completion (KGC), and a comprehensive benchmark for KGC methods was built on the dataset. A novel framework for extending cultural heritage KG resources was also proposed, applied to French data. The work is detailed in arXiv:2605.17669.
