MUDEC Wall: 70 multilingual posters transform Milan street into open-air gallery

MUDEC – Museo delle Culture di Milano has launched MUDEC Wall, a public art project in collaboration with IED Milano and Arte Pubblica, featuring 70 multilingual posters along Via Ventimiglia until June 2025. The posters, created by 22 students from IED Milano's Graphic Design, Illustration and Animation, Photography, Communication Design, and Video Design courses, draw inspiration from the museum's exhibition 'Travelogue. Storie di viaggi, migrazioni e diaspore' (open until September 21). The students hail from seven countries: Italy, Japan, Lithuania, Serbia, Ukraine, Guatemala, and Turkey. The project was guided by professor and Art Director Benedetta Spreafico, with supervision from Giuseppe Bob Liuzzo, Coordinator of the Graphic Design course. Liuzzo praised the students for their creativity and professional approach. The collective work transforms the street into a space for reflection and cultural sharing, celebrating diversity, youth creativity, and the metaphor of travel. The posters explore themes from migration to personal discovery, pleasure, and introspection.
