MSK Graffiti Legends Reunite in Inwood for Annual Jam Honoring Fallen Writers
This year's graffiti jam took place in Inwood, Manhattan, drawing together longtime members of the MSK (Manhattan Subway Kings) crew along with special guests. The event, led by MSK president Kister and vice president 2New, paid tribute to legendary NYC subway writers. They remembered icons like Tracy 168, Sane, Omni, and others. Among the attendees were the well-known writer Smith, KC One with his niece Vicky, influential artist Sakk, and Fernando Bermudez, who spent over 18 years wrongfully imprisoned. Kister also recognized Hec, Zook, and the Fresh Kings Crew. Photographer Lois Stavsky documented the day, posting highlights on the StreetArtNYC blog. This gathering reinforced MSK's legacy and the vibrant New York graffiti scene while honoring those they've lost.
