Movin'Up 20th Edition: New Focuses and Increased Budget for Young Italian Artists

The 20th edition of Movin'Up, aimed at enhancing the artistic mobility of emerging Italian talents, is set to launch soon. Established in 1999 by the GAI, this initiative has backed 794 out of 2,573 projects and engaged over 1,300 artists across multiple art forms, including music, cinema, and visual arts. The current cycle, focusing on performing arts like theater and dance, is a collaboration between MiBAC, GAI, and GA/ER Associazione Giovani Artisti dell’Emilia-Romagna. With a total budget of €30,000, this edition offers awards of €5,000 for regional projects and €10,000 for those linked to Asia and North Africa. Applications are due by March 11, 2019.
