The display emphasizes creative advancements during the Roman Reformation, with Michelangelo blending spirituality and bodily purity, while Caravaggio introduced striking realism in pieces like 'Boy Bitten by a Lizard' and 'Madonna of the Pilgrims.' Lutheran influence is seen in Sebastiano del Piombo and Pontormo's works, alongside the Church's counter efforts through altar pieces.
