Moschino Spring/Summer 2021 show uses marionettes instead of models
For its Spring/Summer 2021 collection, Moschino staged a fashion show entirely in miniature, using marionettes and scaled-down sets produced by Jim Henson's Creature Shop. Creative director Jeremy Scott explained the concept arose from the pandemic's disruption of normality, focusing on small details to create something new. The garments highlight elements usually hidden, such as lapels and back zippers. The video event features cameos by Chiara Ferragni, Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele, Anna Wintour, Edward Enninful, and Anna Dello Russo. Scott himself appears, drawn by his puppet alter ego. The show was produced by Jim Henson's Creature Shop, founded in 1979 by the creator of the Muppets.
