Moschino and Gufram Unveil Pop Furniture at Milan Design Week 2017
At Milan Design Week 2017, Moschino and Gufram launched 'Moschino kisses Gufram', a capsule collection by Jeremy Scott. The line includes four products: Zipped Lips! (a limited edition of 99 lip-shaped sofas with a gold zipper), Biker cabinet (a wheeled cabinet replicating the Moschino Biker bag), and High Heels (two black leather stiletto heels serving as a pouf and shelves). The collaboration continues Gufram's tradition of ironic design, following its iconic 1970 Bocca sofa inspired by Dalí's Mae West Lips Sofa, the 1972 Capitello series by Studio65, and cactus coat racks by Guido Drocco and Franco Mello (revamped by Paul Smith in 2016). Moschino, founded by Franco Moschino in 1983, is known for pop-culture references and irreverent humor.
