Moonshot launches ambassador program to boost Kimi AI adoption

Moonshot, an AI startup based in Beijing, has introduced the "Kimi Ambassador Program" to enlist key influencers—such as entrepreneurs, developers, content creators, and university students—to advocate for its Kimi AI model within their networks. Announced on Tuesday, this initiative seeks to transform the increasing interest in Kimi K3 into widespread usage among creators and developers. Applicants are required to fill out an 11-question form that covers their background, Kimi experience, social media influence, and community impact, along with responses to open-ended questions about their potential projects with unlimited API access. Those selected as ambassadors will receive early access to unreleased Kimi models, experimental features, API credits, direct interaction with Moonshot's product team, and opportunities to promote their work through official channels. This approach signifies a strategic pivot; unlike conventional software, AI models necessitate user adaptation for specific workflows, making external communities essential for identifying new applications. Moonshot is particularly interested in individuals who have already incorporated Kimi into their products or workflows and are eager to share their insights with wider audiences.
