Moof Fitness Studio: A Modular, Replicable Gym System by Bárbara Bardín and Julio Cano
Moof Fitness Studio, conceived by Bárbara Bardín and Julio Cano, is a modular gym system located in an undisclosed area, intended as a versatile foundation for a future network of specialized fitness facilities. Prioritizing tranquility over sensory overload, the gym incorporates prefabricated, powder-coated components that can be easily reconfigured on-site. The design features two distinct areas—one for floor training and another for strength training—divided by perforated metal sheeting that casts shifting shadows through its semi-transparent layers. The material palette is understated, showcasing Melongelb RAL 1028, technical white, and electric blue. The facade is designed with a double layer of perforated metal, complemented by signage made from folded metal elements, promoting a unisex environment defined by calmness and clarity.
