To celebrate the 375th anniversary of Montréal, Rue Sherbrooke has been transformed into an open-air museum featuring 67 contemporary artworks centered on the theme of peace. The exhibition, named "La balade pour la paix" (The Peace Walk), is available for viewing from May 29 to October 27, 2017. Organized by the Musée des beaux-arts de Montréal (MBAM) with assistance from Concordia and McGill universities, the display spans over one kilometer along the prominent street. Notable artists involved include César, Jonathan Borofsky, Fernando Botero, Alexander Calder, and Yayoi Kusama, among others.
