Monograph 'Gesture' on Romain Froquet Published by Lienart on June 11

The monograph 'Gesture' compiles over twenty years of work by artist Romain Froquet, featuring nearly 200 illustrations. It explores his practice centered on line, gesture, and connection across drawing, painting, installations, and in situ interventions. Born in 1982, Froquet blends abstract art, urban art, and ethnic influences, drawing inspiration from abstract pioneers Arshile Gorky, Jackson Pollock, and Willem de Kooning. His work often uses photographs of highway interchanges to symbolize human connections. The book includes contributions from curator Alexandre Latscha and art historian Isabelle de Maison Rouge. Published by Éditions Lienart, it will be available from June 11, 2026.
