Monocle publishes Los Angeles city guide by local author

Monocle has released a city guide to Los Angeles, written by a native Angeleno, that embraces the city's lack of a traditional center. It highlights cultural venues such as Night Gallery, Nonaka-Hill, and Gallery Castle, as well as restaurants like N/naka, Osteria Mozza, and Bestia. The author notes that LA has matured into a global cultural capital, overcoming its earlier insecurities compared to New York and European cities. The guide features historic spots like Tam O'Shanter (since 1922) and newer ones like Found Oyster, along with JF Chen's antique warehouse and Hightide stationery.
