Monocle Handbook spotlights six must-visit Thai shops

publication · 2026-05-24

Monocle's new 'Thailand: The Monocle Handbook' profiles six standout retail destinations across Thailand, from Bangkok's luxury malls to island lifestyle boutiques. The Decorum in Bangkok offers made-to-measure formalwear from South Korean tailors and UK shoes. JBB, founded by Jirawat 'Bote' Benchakarn in 2007, fills a gap in menswear with linen tailoring and safari jackets. Pañpuri, by Vorravit Siripark, creates skincare and fragrances using Thai jasmine and lemongrass. On Koh Phangan, Satika Ozsanay's Sprout sells baby clothes, coconut-wax candles, and homemade chilli paste. Earth & Fire Ceramics in Lampang produces elegant crockery alongside a café and gallery. Siam Paragon in Bangkok hosts over 70 luxury brands and a Gourmet Market. The handbook is available on monocle.com and in Monocle shops.
