Moneyless Designs 'Gluppa' for POP UP! Festival in Le Marche
The 2017 festival, POP UP! Arte Contemporanea nello Spazio Urbano, is organized by MAC Manifestazioni Artistiche Contemporanee and supported by the Funder 35 grant from Fondazione ACRI. Teo Pirisi, known as Moneyless and born in 1980 in Milan, designed the festival's visual identity, drawing inspiration from nature. The initiative, Pop Up! Gluppa Art, Food and Travel, highlights the Marche region through contemporary art and local products, focusing on "la gluppa," a knotted cloth bundle crafted by Moneyless in collaboration with Antica Stamperia di Emanuele Francioni. From March 30 to April 2, five international bloggers will document their exploration of the region's urban art, filmed by Mattia Fiumani. Previous editions featured murals by various artists in 2015 across multiple towns.
