Moncler installs giant octopus at 10 Corso Como for Milan Design Week

architecture-design · 2026-04-16

Moncler presents its Puffy Summer concept for the upcoming summer season at 10 Corso Como during Milan Design Week, running from April 16 to 28. A massive inflatable octopus envelops the facade and extends indoors, creating an immersive environment that blends installation and scenography. The installation physically translates the idea of puffiness with soft volumes, light surfaces, and a playful aesthetic, reinterpreting codes historically tied to winter. Inside, 24 looks from the Moncler Collection Estate 2026 are displayed in an exhibition path that fosters a continuous dialogue between garments and environment. Summer layering is reinterpreted with light overlaps, breathable materials, and a vibrant color palette ranging from delicate to saturated tones. Organic shapes inspired by the marine world interact with the volumes of the clothing, establishing a visual rhythm alternating lightness and structure. This experiential space stages a narrative environment where every element contributes to a coherent imaginary, making the seasonal transition tangible. The brand transforms its iconic padding into a language suited for warmer months, inviting visitors to physically traverse its world.
