La mostra del MoMA del 2009 'In & Out of Amsterdam' rivaluta l'arte concettuale attraverso il polo olandese
Dal 19 luglio al 5 ottobre 2009, il Museum of Modern Art di New York ha presentato 'In & Out of Amsterdam: Travels in Conceptual Art, 1960-1976', seguita da 'In & Out of Amsterdam: Art & Project Bulletin, 1968-1989', che si è tenuta dal 15 luglio al 9 novembre 2009. Curate da Christophe Cherix, queste mostre hanno esposto 230 opere dei fondatori di Art & Project, Geert van Beijeren e Adriaan van Ravesteijn. Le opere di dieci artisti, tra cui Bas Jan Ader e Lawrence Weiner, hanno illustrato il movimento, con il viaggio come tema centrale, presentando le mappe segnate di Dibbets e le creazioni basate su mappe di LeWitt. Le mostre avevano lo scopo di rafforzare lo status del MoMA come principale autorità nell'arte moderna mostrando i confini della prospettiva e dello spazio nell'arte concettuale.
