Moi Aussi: Gallery Where Artists Exhibit Only Eyewear

exhibition · 2026-04-27

The Moi Aussi project presents eyewear as artworks, featuring international artists who transform glasses into unique pieces. Artists include Greta Pllana (Albania), whose work Roots explores nature, identity, and memory; Oscar Contreras Rojas (Mexico), who reconstructs travel sketches; and Elena Shaposhnikova (Russia), inspired by Siberia's abandoned territories using a trash bag. The duo TTOZOI (Stefano Forgione and Giuseppe Rossi) is known for works with molds and natural oxidations. Helmut Pizzinini references life's symbols with The Tree of Life. American artists Erik Sommer (New York) creates concrete glasses that appear fragile, while Timothy Washington (Los Angeles) uses aged street posters and flour glue. The project is featured on Artribune, which also offers a WhatsApp channel and daily newsletter Lettera. Federico Poletti, described as eclectic and nomadic, is a Milan-based art graduate with a fashion vision.
