Modigliani and Licini Lead Il Ponte's November 2025 Milan Auctions
Il Ponte Casa d'Aste is set to host its modern and contemporary art auctions in Milan on November 25 and 26, 2025. The star of the show is Amedeo Modigliani's 1915 oil on cardboard, 'Portrait de Beatrice Hastings,' valued between €750,000 and €1,000,000, previously part of the Fondation Beyeler collection. Other featured pieces include Arturo Martini’s rediscovered sculpture 'Il Figliol prodigo e la Famiglia,' estimated at €300,000–350,000, and Giorgio de Chirico’s 'Il trovatore' (€120,000–180,000). Mario Sironi’s 'Il seminatore' (€50,000–70,000) also makes a comeback. The auction will highlight prints and multiples on November 26, with about 80 lots available at lower prices. A preview will occur from November 21 to 23 at Palazzo Crivelli, via Pontaccio 12, Milan.
