Modernist Villa Renovation in Poznań by LBWA

In the historic Grunwald district of Poznań, Poland, near the renowned Abisynia housing estate, stands a pre-war villa distinguished by its modernist character. The building, an exemplary instance of 1930s architecture, was constructed following the strict urban planning regulations of its time. Its geometric volume and refined proportions lack ornamentation, rustic elements, or pilasters, which are hallmarks of the modernist aesthetic. The renovation project, completed in 2023, was led by principal architect Maria Łuczkowska of the firm LBWA, with a project area of 220 m². The design was curated by Nina Vuga, and photographs were taken by Zasoby Studio. The project falls under the category of house interiors.
