Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth Names First COO
Clarissa Morales has been appointed as the first Chief Operating Officer of the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, a role established by Director Dr. Halona Norton-Westbrook. Starting July 1, 2026, Morales will manage the operations of the 53,000-square-foot museum. She previously served as Deputy Director at the Carnegie Museum of Art, where she oversaw a staff of 160 and managed a collection of 100,000 artworks, including the 2022 and 2026 Carnegie International exhibitions. Morales has also held positions at the Cantor Arts Center, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, MOCA LA, and LACMA.
