MoaiPress: A New Digital Platform for Urban Art in Italy

MoaiPress, a digital platform dedicated to urban art and public space, has launched in Italy. The acronym stands for Mural and Other Art Issues. It aims to foster critical debate and support those working in urban art through research, in-depth analysis, and critical texts by experts, artists, and professionals. The platform also organizes events, produces original artistic works, and publishes critical writings to build a 'counter-cultural' network. Content includes articles by Guerrilla SPAM, Simone Pallotta, Ufocinque, and 108, as well as a podcast series 'La street art non esiste' by Matteo Bidini. An archive of texts is freely accessible. The editorial team consists of Davide Gavioli (communication), Gioele Bertin (Howlers Crew, graphics and site development), Francesca Melina (Howlers Crew), Matteo Bidini, Guerrilla Spam, and Andrea Gianfanti.
