Mo Gilligan's Fond Memories of Barry Island Holidays

Mo Gilligan, a comedian and television host recognized for judging ITV's The Masked Singer, has shared how watching Gavin & Stacey evokes cherished memories of his childhood vacations at Barry Island in south Wales. His mother hails from Barry in the Vale of Glamorgan, while his grandfather settled in Grangetown, Cardiff, after moving from Jamaica. Although Gilligan was raised in London, he frequently visits family in the region and held a fundraising event at Cadoxton Conservative Club in February to support its future. He fondly reminisced about six-week holidays spent on the beach, enjoying the log flume, and playing penny arcade games.
