digital · 2026-04-27

Sapienza University's MLAC – Museo Laboratorio di Arte Contemporanea in Rome has launched a new online initiative called Video of the Week, aimed at showcasing artist videos. This project kicks off on January 20, with a new video released every Wednesday at 5 PM on their YouTube channel, making it easier for everyone to access. Scholars Francesca Gallo and Paola Lagonigro curate the series, which highlights MLAC's dedication to video and digital art. The lineup features a mix of both Italian and international artists, presenting works that bridge classic video art and modern digital creations. Each video will be available for one week, with featured artists including Adriano Abbado and Michele Böhm, among others.
