Miwon Kwon's work, 'One Place After Another: Site-Specific Art and Locational Identity,' has been translated into Italian as 'Un luogo dopo l'altro. Arte site-specific e identità delocalizzata' by Postmedia Books in Milan, with Gianni Romano serving as the editor. Originally published by MIT Press 18 years ago, this book stems from Kwon's doctoral research at Princeton (1996-1998), guided by Rosalyn Deutsche, Hal Foster, and Mark Wigley. The Italian version features a preface by Francesca Guerisoli. Now a professor at UCLA, Kwon explores the development of site-specific art from the pioneers of the 1960s and 70s to modern practitioners, addressing the transition from institutional critique to diverse site interactions and proposing the concept of the 'wrong place' through an interdisciplinary lens.
