Miwa Komatsu's 'Sense of Sacredness' Opens at Whitestone Gallery Singapore with Live Painting
From October 14 to December 17, Miwa Komatsu, a Japanese artist, showcases her most extensive exhibition titled 'Sense of Sacredness' at the newly opened Whitestone Gallery in Singapore. This exhibition includes fresh pieces inspired by mythical creatures and features a live painting event on the opening day. To deepen her spiritual practice, Komatsu relocated her studio from Tokyo to Nagano Prefecture, where she finds a closer connection to nature. Her creative process begins with meditation, facilitating the emergence of divine spirits. She believes that live painting aligns human energy with the spirit of the land. Simultaneously, Ronald Ventura, a Filipino artist, displays his solo exhibition 'An Introspective' from October 14 to January 28 at the New Art Museum Singapore. The grand opening of Whitestone Gallery is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on October 14.
