Missione Pietrarubbia: A Video Game Based on Arnaldo Pomodoro's Archive
A hybrid video and board game titled 'Missione Pietrarubbia' has been developed for Italian middle schools by the studio We Are Müesli, supported by Fondazione Cariplo and created for the Fondazione Arnaldo Pomodoro. The game draws on the archive of sculptor Arnaldo Pomodoro, aiming to introduce students to his work and biography. Players explore a mysterious galaxy, solving puzzles that reference Pomodoro's sculptures and influences, particularly 'The Pietrarubbia Group'. Beyond art education, the game teaches students about archives as a means of self-narrative and community connection; participating classes will build their own personal and class archives. The game was previewed by Artribune in late October 2022.
