Mirante de São Jorge: Alan Chu's 2026 Viewpoint Pavilion in Brazil

Alan Chu, the architect behind the Mirante de São Jorge project, has unveiled a new viewpoint structure in São Jorge, Brazil, slated for completion in 2026. The project, curated by Susanna Moreira, spans 2,858 square meters and falls under the categories of hospitality, entertainment, and tourism. The architectural concept, as described by the project team, stems from the need to establish a relationship between humans and their surroundings, creating a space that orients the body and makes perceptible relationships often hidden in daily life. The team includes project coordinator Cristina Chu, with lead architect Alan Chu, and project team members Ana Clara Cavalcante, Bruno Ottoni, and Pedro Reis.
