Mira Calix, pioneering sound artist and composer, dies at 52
Chantal Passamonte, known professionally as Mira Calix, was born in 1970 and died in 2022. Originally from South Africa, she made her mark as a UK-based composer, producing six innovative albums for Warp Records and creating renowned public sound sculptures.
