Minus.log's Ascending Exhibition at TOMAV Tower in Moresco

The artistic duo Minus.log, active since 2012 and composed of Manuela Cappucci and Giustino Di Gregorio, presents an exhibition at TOMAV in Moresco. The show features an ascending path that aligns with the heptagonal tower's architecture. Their work explores essential forms and ethereal non-places through evanescent color fields and barely visible signs, accompanied by sound design from Daniele Bogon. The watercolors reveal spaces sealed by a horizon line, requiring patient viewing. Curator Antonello Tolve describes these as 'places of reflection and dislocation,' a minimalism that subverts known spatial coordinates to lead viewers toward interstitial, intimate realms on the threshold of the recognizable—utopias within the heterotopia of Moresco's great tower, where silence and emptiness become communication and healing. At the exhibition's climax, the fortification's summit lit by an oculus, two minimalist installations act as tutelary deities, unsettling the established balance and hinting at mental and physical dislocation.
