Minus.log: Minimalist Immersion Between Analog and Digital in Milan
The artist duo Minus.log, composed of gestural painter Manuela Cappucci and audiovisual artist Giustino Di Gregorio, presents a solo exhibition curated by Martina Lolli at Galleria Bianconi in Milan. The show features thirteen works across three rooms dominated by white, line, and void, creating an immersive minimalist environment. The aesthetic initially evokes Rothko's emptiness or Manzoni's Achrome, but further develops into a dialogue between analog and digital through looped audiovisual repetitions and paintings on canvas. The line is emphasized as a symbol of limit, wound, and error. The installation plays on synesthesia and reduction, leaving the viewer in stillness, questioning whether they can cross the threshold. The duo previously appeared at the Electronic Language International Festival in São Paulo (2015) and HeartheartH Festival (2016).
