MiniMax AI reports 1M clients, 5x growth in half year
At the UBS Asian Investment Conference held in Hong Kong on Thursday, MiniMax, a Chinese AI startup, revealed that its client and developer count has exceeded 1 million, a significant rise from about 200,000 six months prior—a fivefold surge. The company, based in Shanghai, also shared that it has a global user base of 300 million and that its annual recurring revenue (ARR) has more than doubled in the last two months. However, despite these impressive growth figures, MiniMax reported substantial total losses. Co-founder and president Yun Yeyi provided this information during the conference.
