Miniature art exhibition 'Small is Beautiful' arrives in Milan

The traveling exhibition 'Small is Beautiful', curated by Serge Victoria, opens May 8 at Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan, Italy, after successful runs in Paris, New York, and Brussels. The show features over 870,000 Instagram posts under #MiniatureArt, bringing together artists from around the world working in paper art, hyperrealistic dioramas, and other miniature forms. Victoria explains that the project originated on social media to elevate miniature art as a recognized art form. Future plans include a miniature restaurant, bar, permanent museum, and virtual reality experiences. The exhibition transforms everyday objects like potato chip packets into unexplored caves, watermelons into tennis courts, and shoelaces into sea monsters, viewable only through magnifying lenses.
