Ming Wong and Mark Rappolt to discuss art and identity in London talk series

ArtReview and Ursula magazine host monthly conversations at London's Mayfair Wine Bar, with Ming Wong and Mark Rappolt scheduled for Tuesday 3 March. The series offers intimate discussions with creative figures on first Tuesdays, featuring a 6:15pm welcome drink and 7pm start. Tickets cost £14 including publications and a drink. Ming Wong, a Singapore-born Berlin-based artist, explores authenticity through performance and video, with work at Tate Modern and representing Singapore at the 53rd Venice Biennale in 2009. He has upcoming exhibitions at Rockbund Art Museum Shanghai (2024) and is the 2025 artist-in-residence at The National Gallery London. Mark Rappolt, Editor-in-Chief of ArtReview and founder of ArtReview Asia, has curated exhibitions internationally including in Doha and Shanghai. He will co-curate the Rubaiya Qatar quadrennial opening November 2026. Previous series participants include Cooking Sections, Do Ho Suh, and Sonia Boyce. The events emphasize live experience over remote viewing.
