Ming Fay's Sculptures Featured in Group Show at The Campus in Hudson Valley Through October 2025

Right now, there's a cool exhibition at The Campus in Claverack, New York, featuring the work of Ming Fay. His sculptures, which include fruits and vegetables, explore how plants and humans are intertwined. This show, organized by Timo Kappeller, runs from June 28 to October 26, 2025, in a repurposed high school on a sprawling 22-acre site. Six galleries, such as Bortolami and James Cohan, oversee the venue. Fay’s bronze pears and mixed-media creations are displayed in a former boys' locker room, blending beautifully with the old architecture. His art is influenced by Chinese semiotics and the Haw Par Mansion Garden in Hong Kong. Other artists showing their work include Richard Long, Kiki Smith, and Elias Sime. Previously, Fay had a retrospective at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston. His sculptures cleverly mix scale and humor, transforming everyday objects into magical, garden-like scenes.
