Mina Stone to Open Restaurant at MoMA PS1 After Bruce Nauman Show

Mina Stone, known as "the chef of artists," will open her new restaurant Mina's at MoMA PS1 in New York in April 2019, replacing M. Wells Dinette which closes on February 25 after the finissage of Bruce Nauman: Disappearing Acts. Stone gained fame for her 2015 book Cooking for Artists, designed by Urs Fischer, featuring recipes illustrated by artists including Darren Bader, Cassandra MacLeod, Matthew Barney, Elizabeth Peyton, and Spencer Sweeney. She has cooked at institutions such as the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, Garage Museum in Moscow, and Deste Project Space in Hydra. Her Greek-influenced Mediterranean menu will change seasonally. The restaurant space, designed by artist Alex Eagleton and architect Isobel Herbold, will close for renovations from March 1 and reopen in April.
